/ MCR · Mobile Collision Reporting

Report the collision from where it happened.

Drivers in a minor collision file the report from a phone, with photos, statements and insurance details. The service vets it and pushes it to its RMS. The insurer receives a verified claim. Nobody drives to a collision reporting centre.

01 · The driver

Filed at the roadside, not at a counter

After a minor collision the driver calls the service for an occurrence number, opens the MCR app from the app store or from the service's own website, and files the report where it happened: photos, a statement, the other party's details and the insurance information.

02 · The service

Vetted once, standardised every time

Reports arrive in one queue, in one format. The service vets the data, links the report to the CAD call it belongs to, and imports it to the RMS with no retyping. AI assistance for the vetting step is available where a service wants it.

03 · The insurer

A report that was verified before it became a claim

The claim an insurer receives was captured at the scene, timestamped, and vetted by the service before it left. That is the fraud control: a report that cannot be reconstructed after the fact, and a claim that opens with the evidence attached.

/ How it works

Four steps, and the last one closes the file.

The same path every time, for the driver and for the service.

  1. Incident numberThe driver calls the service and receives an occurrence number
  2. Mobile reportFiled in the MCR app, from the app store or the service's site
  3. VettedThe service reviews the data, with AI assistance if wanted
  4. Case closedPushed to the RMS, and a claim generated for the insurer
/ What it changes

Three parties, and each one gets time back.

  • For the service

Officers stop taking routine collision reports and get back to priority calls. Reports arrive standardised, so investigations and trend analysis start from clean data.

  • For the driver

No queue at a reporting centre at the end of an already bad day. The report is filed from the roadside and confirmed on the spot.

  • For the insurer

Fraud in collision claims is measured in billions, and the cost flows to every driver's premium. A verified, timestamped report takes the opening away.
